Regional Library “Prof. Benio Tsonev”- Lovech also took part in the celebration of Snejana Ianeva’s life and work. In our profile in Facebook we published information in Bulgarian and in English about the celebration of Snejana Ianeva’s birthday. During the Memorial week (6-14 March) on the occasion of Snejana Ianeva’s birth on March, 8th, Library “Rodina” in Stara Zagora named after her the American Information Corner at the library. The establishment of the Corner under her guidance attracted tech equipment, attention and investments in the development of our library.

A silver spruce was planted at the University of Library Science and Information Technology (UniBIT) in honour of the long-time president of the Bulgarian Library and Information Association (BBIA) and librarian Snejana Ianeva.
The professionals, who now lead of the National Library "P.R. Slaveykov" in Veliko Tarnovo are among the people, who Snejana Ianeva encouraged and supported to specialize in the United States and Europe, hoping that they will lead the process of modernization and democratization of Bulgarian libraries. Today we find Associate professor Dr. Kalina Ivanova and Dr. Ivan Alexandrov at the helm of a library with amazing traditions, that now helps Bulgaria keep its identity in the world and in Europe.
The Memorial Week (6-14 March) celebrates Snejana Ianeva’s birthday with an Academic Class Session at UniBit, dedicated to Snejana Ianeva
An Academic Class Session led by Prof. Dr. Tania Todorova took place at the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies on March 7th, at 10 AM, thus opening the Memorial Week in the academic community. This Academic lecture is supported by the whole academic community at UniBIT, by “Snejana Ianeva” Memorial Fund and by the Bulgarian Library and Information Association. The Academic Class Session will be held annually.
