On the eve of March 8th, Snejana Ianeva’s birthday

Snejana Ianeva Memorial Fund and BCause Foundation are grateful to everyone, who in the past year, honored Sneja’s work and memory and announce the following awards and donations for 2020.

WITH DIPLOMA AND MONETORY AWARD OR DONATION:

  1. “Penio Penev” Town Library in the town of Dimitrovgrad for its leading role in celebrating Snejana Ianeva life’s work during 2020 – 1000 levs.
  2. “Pahisji Hilendarski” Town Library in the town of Samokov for creating the first permanent site in memory of Snejana Ianeva – 400 levs.
  3. “Geo Milev” Regional Library in the city of Montana, the first regional library which celebrated Sneja’s birthday in 2020 with a multimedia display at the library and designing a memorial garden with her favorite flowers – 600 levs.
  4. “P.R.Slaveikov” National Regional Library in Veliko Tarnovo for naming a centre at the library after Snejana Ianeva – 300 levs.
  5. “Hristo Smirnenski” Regional Library in the city of Haskovo which dedicated all events for the Day of National Revival Leaders in honor of Snejana Ianeva and for naming her a Revival Leader of modern times – 300 levs.
  6. The American Centre at Sofia City Library for celebrating Snejana Ianeva’s birthday in 2020, for organizing an exhibition and publishing a brochure in her memory – 500 levs.
  7. Ms .Nikolina Kotseva , Organization Secretary at the Bulgarian Library and Information Association, for her work assisting Snejana Ianeva – 350 levs.

WITH HONORARY DIPLOMA:
For participation and contribution in the campaign “3 Months of Acts of Honor for 30 Years of Gratuitous Service to the Libraries. For establishing memorial corners, dedicating events and exhibitions:

  1. “Aprilov-Palauzov” Regional Library in the city of Gabrovo
  2. “Zaharii Knyajevski” Regional Library in the city of Stara Zagora
  3. The History Museum in the town of Dimitrovgrad
  4. The American Centre at “Ivan Vazov” National Regional Library in the city of Plovdiv
  5. The Bulgarian Library and Information Association Online Magazine for publishing materials dedicated to the work and memory of Snejana Ianeva in issues 1 and 6, 2020.
  6. Ms. Vania Grashkina-Mincheva for her collaboration with Snejana Ianeva and being her associate for decades.

  1. Valka Manolova Ianeva for donation over 1000 levs
  2. Julieta Serafimova-Dimitrova for donation over 500 levs
