On the occasion of the Day of National Awakeners, Bulgarians in San Francisco attended “Fidelio” on October 30th, 2021 at the Opera house of the city, dedicating that to Snejana Ianeva and laying flowers in her memory.
Snejana’s love for Bulgarian and World Opera was well known.
Beethoven’s “Fidelio” is about a brave woman, capable of breaking through the most difficult and dangerous barriers.

The Assenovgrad City Library received the newly established Award for Innovative Library “Snejana Ianeva” for the projects “Fairy Tales Come Alive” and Digital Center. The award was established this year by the Bulgarian Library and Information Association (BLIA) in the name of its longtime President and leader of numerous initiatives for the modernization of libraries. The award was presented at the official ceremony “Annual Library Awards of BLIA for 2020.” during the XXXI National Conference of BLIA, which was held at the Regional Library “PeyoYavorov” - Burgas.

Знаменитото есе „Мисията на библиотекаря” на испанския философ Хосе Ортега и Гасет (1883-1955) е представено на 20 май 1935 година при откриването на втория Световен конгрес на библиотеките и библиографията в Мадрид. В него той казва, че „Всеки човешки живот има мисия, а мисия е именно съзнанието на всеки човек за най-неподправеното битие,което е призван да осъществи”... BLIA MARKS THE ANNIVERSARY AT ITS XXXI NATIONAL CONFERENCE
The Bulgarian Library and Information Association as a co-organizer in celebrating the 70th anniversary, held a Meeting of Commemoration of Snejana Ianeva during its Annual National Conference, which took place in Burgas on 14th and 15th of October 2021.

On September 23, 2021,The Board of the Bulgarian Library and Information Association of which Snejana Ianeva was President for many years, decided to be one of the organizers of the 70th anniversary of her birth and established an ANNUAL AWARD FOR AN INNOVATIVE LIBRARY in her name.

We mark the 70th anniversary in the period between March 2021 - March 2022
On May 11, 2021, the Day of St. St. Cyril and Methodius and Librarian's Day, the “Snejana Ianeva” Memorial Fund announced awards to be presented in March 2022 for an one-year activity in memory of Sneja, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of her birth.
Мemorial Fund “Snejana Ianeva” sends holiday greetings to all librarians in our country and wishes them success in their important mission. We sincerely thank all libraries which marked the 15-th anniversary of the establishment of the National Library Week (17-21 May) and dedicated many initiatives to Snejana Ianeva and her contribution for all 15 editions of this important event to all who cherish the books, their readers and the place libraries have in our social life.
